The Problem In the villages surrounding Sohna Block, Gurugram, hundreds of children between ages 6-14 have either dropped out of school or attend irregularly. Government schools are under-resourced and overcrowded. Parents — mostly daily-wage workers — cannot afford private tuition. ## What This Campaign Does Sakshar Sohna runs **5 learning centres** across villages providing: - Daily remedial classes (2 hours) for dropout and at-risk children - Village libraries with age-appropriate books - Monthly learning workshops and reading competitions - Parent engagement sessions on the importance of education ## Who Benefits 200 children aged 6–14 in villages across Sohna Block, Gurugram.
